The Blue Mountain Festival Mission:

  • To provide music education of the highest quality to children and young adults through chamber music coaching, private instruction, master classes, ensembles classes, workshops and performance opportunities.
  • To establish a learning environment that supports student excellence and achievement by fostering enthusiasm for the arts.
  • To increase public support of classical music through concerts and lectures.
  • To make classical music accessible to a broad range of audiences.
  • To maintain the highest standards of excellence in teaching and performing.

The festival has a dual mission: to pursue excellence in music-making and to educate and train a new generation of classical music lovers and concert-goers. There is room at the festival for a wide range of dedicated students coming to learn and love music. The faculty and student performances constitute one of the most important and creative aspects of the program.  All recitals are open to the general public.
